Generally, the team performed quite well for the presentation. All members were able to present their portions without much reference to the cue cards, and they had a certain level of understanding of the content. During the Q&A section, and there was a balanced opportunity for the members to answer. However, there should be better coordination between them as they were not prepared to perform the slides transition for each other.

I felt that I have performed relatively well for this presentation. Comparing to the previous presentations, I felt I was more confident and I could understand what the audience want from the presenter’s point of view. This was the first time I managed to present without looking frequently at the cue card, as I always had this psychological fear of forgetting my presentation content. I started off with a shaky voice, but I managed to control the situation after becoming more accustomed to it.

I tried my best to maintain eye contact with the audience, except for periods when I was quite tensed and glanced at the screen quite often. I felt I spoke clearly with a reasonable pace, using inflection to maintain interest. However, my speech became incoherent when I panicked during the times when I forgot the content I was presenting. Unlike the previous presentation, I stood firmly on the ground without moving much, but my hand gestures still had a lot of movement which were quite distracting.

The slides which I presented on had more pictures and lesser text to prevent any information overload. This presentation was more of a persuasive context and I felt that I should have involved the audience more to get their opinions and paraphrase accordingly. Besides that, instead of always being the 1st speaker, I should try to be in the position of other speakers. In overall, there should be greater analysis of this challenging topic.

From what we had seen the other day, I can say that your team had presented your topic very well. All the members seemed to be very fluent with the subject which is very good.

However, as you have mentioned in your post, the transitions could've been handled more efficiently for which the person who is making the transitions must be well aware of the speakers' contents. Or the speaker could use some key words at the end of each slide upon hearing which the person taking care of slide transitions can advance to the next slide.

It's good that you did not move much during this presentation especially since you could be blocking the slides. However, I don't think your gestures were distracting. I believe gestures make the presentation more lively.

And yes... We all could've tried involving the audience more by asking questions and opinions. We must try to improve upon these aspects the next time, now that we have gained some confidence and overcome nervousness to some extent.

Hey Alden,

Personally I felt that you appeared to be at ease and natural during the presentation. You managed to sustained eye contact with a wide area of audience. Your attire was appropriate and there was no colour clashes with your team's dress code.

However, perhaps maybe you could make your pie charts clearer and more specific in the future.

Last but not the least, being the introductory speaker, i felt that you managed to make an impactful introduction which I felt is crucial in persuading the relevant listeners.

It is definitely a remarkable presentation!=)

Hi Alden,

I think you did a good job for your presentation. You appeared very confident. As a first speaker, you began with an interesting introduction with many pictures, which made the atmosphere livelier. But I think it might be better to spend more time to discuss the topic itself and the process to the solutions was a bit long. (Since it is an old topic, most of the audience are familiar with it.)

It is great that you did not move much this time, but I think suitable gestures or moving just make you appear more nature and I do not think your gestures were distracting.

In brief, your presentation was impressive and I learnt a lot from it.

Hey Alden!

Firstly I would like to commend you on your brilliant presentation! I felt that you were pretty confident of what you wanted to say.

However, at times I felt that your delivery could have been better in the sense that since it is a persuasive presentation, your speech could have concentrated on that.I felt a lot of us encountered the same problem too.

You seemed enthusiastic which a good thing as it keeps the audience focused on you/ the presentation. Although I have to agree with you on the part where you mentioned you could have involved the audience more.

I guess now that we know our strengths and weaknesses we can all work on it.

Dear Alden,

I feel that you have done well for the presentation. You have articulated your points well and captured the attention of the audience.

As team mates, I felt that your good introduction had made me more confident before presenting my part.

Also, I agree with you that our presentation could be improved by having a deeper analysis of the problem.

Nevertheless, it is a great presentation!
